  • Giant Games Zone with supersized lawn games, perfect for families
What are the event dates and opening hours?

Monster Village will be operating between 4th – 12th October 2025, and there are 16 x 30 minute sessions running daily between 9am – 5pm.

Where is the event located, and is there parking available?

Fremantle Esplanade Park (6160), limited street parking is available around the park, otherwise there are multiple car parks in Fremantle available. Parking does fill up quickly in Fremantle, so be sure to allow plenty of time to find a spot.

Do I need to pre-book tickets, or can I buy them at the gate?

You can buy tickets at the gate, but if you want to guarantee your spot, you should pre-book online here.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

Our Operators are on-site each day to monitor the weather and ensure everyone is playing safely. In the event of adverse weather, our Operators will usher children off the inflatables and under the marquee provided until it’s safe to play again.

Can I book any of the equipment for an event I’m organising?

You bet! We offer hire on all of our inflatables for public and private events! Reach out to en*******@*************om.au and we’ll help out!

Age & Participation Rules

What ages are the inflatables suitable for?

Children (and grown ups!) aged 3+

Are there height or weight restrictions?

We use two different height markers because the requirements vary depending on the inflatable:

  • Bouncy Castles → 86cm minimum height

  • Obstacle Courses → 100cm minimum height

Each post is clearly marked with the required minimum height. Children simply stand next to the post, and if they meet or exceed the marker, they’re good to go!

Can adults join in, or is it just for kids?

Adults can absolutely join in, just play safely around the children!

Safety & Supervision

Are the inflatables supervised by staff?

Yes absolutely – trained and experienced Monsterball Crew will be on-site to supervise at all times. Their role is to keep the equipment safe, prevent overcrowding and ensure everyone is playing safely. It is not their responsibility to ensure children are playing kindly together etc, so we also require parents/caregivers to remain on-site whilst their children are playing too.

What are the safety rules for using the inflatables?

For everyone’s fun and safety, please follow these important rules when using our inflatables:

  • No shoes or sharp objects are allowed on the inflatables at any time.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Play at your own risk – each participant is responsible for their own safety.

  • Remove glasses, jewellery, or anything sharp before entering.

  • Food and drinks are not permitted on or near the inflatables.

  • Flips, somersaults, and rough play are not allowed.

  • Exit immediately if the inflatable begins to deflate.

  • Do not use if you have an existing medical or physical condition that may put you at risk.

  • Do not use while intoxicated.

Is there first aid on site?

Yes, we will have a first aid trained Operator on-site at all times, and basic first aid supplies.

Do children need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times?

Yes! Parents and caregivers need to remain on-site whilst their children are playing.

What insurance coverage do you provide?

We’ve got you covered with $20 million Public Liability Insurance for all our operations and equipment. This means you’re protected if something happens that’s our responsibility. Please be aware that our insurance doesn’t cover accidents caused by negligence from guests or participants, so we always recommend keeping a close eye on children using the inflatables, and follow the safety rules shown on-site.

What happens if my child damages the inflatables?

We ask that our equipment is treated with care. If items are damaged due to misuse or negligence, repair or replacement costs may be charged. Excessive mess (like food, drinks, glitter, paint, or silly string) may also result in a cleaning fee charged at $90ph.

Tickets, Costs & Payment

How much are tickets, and are group/family passes available?

Regular Entry: $15 (online only) | Walk-up: $17

Family Packs (Online Only):

3 kids = $40

4 kids = $50

Extra child = $12

Is there an unlimited pass option, or do I pay per ride?

We don’t have an unlimited option, you will need a ticket to attend each session.

Do you accept cash, card, or mobile payments at the gate?

We accept all payments – cash, card and mobile payments.

Are there any discounts for schools, community groups, or early bookings?

Not at the moment, but if you would like to exclusively book an entire session (capacity: 70), please reach out to en*******@*************om.au and we will find availability for you.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you arrive late, you’ll still be able to enter and play until the session you booked ends. If you prefer, speak to our team and they’ll see if they can fit you into the next session so you can still enjoy the full 30 minutes of play time.

Food, Drinks & Facilities

Is food and drink available on site?

No, but Fremantle has so many wonderful options – feel free to bring food and drink on-site, we just ask that you dispose of your rubbish so our staff can focus on supervising the kids.

Are there shaded rest areas or picnic spaces?

Yes! We’ll provide a shaded marquee with seating should little ones need a rest, and for grown ups to relax.

Are there toilets, baby change facilities, and accessible amenities?

Public toilets are available nearby Bather’s Beach.

Can I bring alcohol into Monster Village?

Safety is key. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to use our equipment, and we ask that alcohol is not brought into Monster Village. Our operators have the right to refuse entry if they believe a participant isn’t safe.

Accessibility & Inclusivity

Are the inflatables accessible for children with disabilities?

Every child has different ability levels, please reach out about your child’s needs directly to en*******@*************om.au and we will do our best to help.

Do you provide quiet zones for children with sensory needs?

The Esplanade Park has plenty of secluded shaded spots for children that need a sensory break. Speak with a Monsterball staff member before leaving, so we can be sure to grant you re-entry.

Are parents & carers allowed in for free?

Parents and caregivers are welcome to come inside to supervise their child at no extra cost. If you’d like to join the fun and hop on the inflatables yourself, you’ll just need to purchase a ticket.

Children under 16 can’t be left unsupervised, a parent or caregiver must stay on-site during their session.

What to Bring & Wear

What clothing is recommended?

Whatever your child feels comfortable in – we recommend bringing a pair of socks as no shoes are permitted on the inflatable.

What should I bring?

Water, sunscreen & hat on sunny days, a change of clothes on rainy days.

Emergencies & Refunds

What happens if the event is canceled due to weather or safety issues?

We can still operate with a bit of drizzle and light winds, but if the weather is too severe, Monsterball may choose to cancel the session if they deem it unsafe to operate. If sessions are cancelled due to the weather, tickets can be rescheduled to another available session or refunded in full.

Is my ticket refundable or transferable?

Need to change plans? No problem! You can transfer your ticket to another date if there’s space, just give us a shout at least 24 hours in advance. (Heads up: our office is closed on weekends.)

Change of Mind: Tickets are non-refundable once purchased, but you may transfer them to another person if you can no longer attend.

Who do I contact if I lose something at the event?

Please reach out to our team on en*******@*************om.au and we’ll help reunite you with lost property!

Marketing & Photos

Would you take photos at events?

We capture photos and videos to showcase the fun and excitement of our activities. These images help us share the Monsterball experience with schools, clubs, and the wider community through our website, social media, and marketing.

Will my child be photographed?

Photos are often taken during events, but you have full control over whether your child appears in them. If you’d prefer your child not to be included, simply let our team know on the day. We’ll make sure they are not featured in any marketing images.

Can I take my own photos?

Yes, parents are welcome to take photos of their own children. We just ask that you respect the privacy of others and avoid posting photos of children who are not your own without permission.
